Parent Fees (payable by check or credit card)

Registration Fee:
Most parents must pay a non-refundable registration fee, during the registration, to start the search process.  The registration fee is either $100 to start the search, or $195 to start the search and also receive the Bay SuperSitters occasional/part time nanny list for your area (25-45 fully screened sitters/nannies).

(Note: Some parents who are interviewing agency nannies only will not have to pay any registration fee, or a reduced fee.  Please call to inquire.)

Parents find the Bay SuperSitters occasional/part time nanny list very helpful for evening/weekend/date night care, and there is some daytime/temporary availability as well.  Parent choosing the $195 option will receive a one year membership for the Bay SuperSitters occasional sitters list, whether a full time nanny is hired through BSS or not.

Placement Fee: 
The total placement fee (MINUS the registration fee, which is already paid) is due ONLY upon successful nanny placement.  

Agency Special:  Parents can interview full time or part time nannies that are already with the agency for a reduced registration fee of as little as $25 or $0 (depending on number of nannies available), AND have can hire at the very low placement fees listed below, if a great BSS nanny is a good match.

For 20-34 hours per week, parents will be interviewing current agency nannies only, for the low placement fees listed below (only due if a nanny is hired).

For 35-44+ hours per week, parents will start by interviewing current agency nannies only, for the low agency fees listed on the right (only due if a nanny is hired).  If none of the current agency nannies are a match, the family can stop there, OR the family will have the option of expanding to a full search, where BSS will post the family's job and screen new candidates specifically for that family, and then the full placement fee from the middle column would be due if a great nanny is hired.

Guarantees:
Because good word of mouth has been vital to the success of  Bay SuperSitters and Nannies thus far, to ensure satisfaction, this *Triple Guarantee* is offered:

1.  Cash back guarantee

If your needs should change within the first 60 days after hiring a nanny, and you no longer need a nanny (you decide to move away, for example) you can receive cash back.  In the first 30 days, you can receive 67% cash back (minus the registration and applicable Trustline/criminal check fees) in the form of a business check.  During days 31-30, you can receive 33% cash back (minus the registration and applicable Trustline/criminal check fees) in the form of a business check.

2.   150 day/90 day pro-rated credit guarantee

Should your nanny placement not work out, for whatever reason, you will receive pro-rated credit towards finding a new nanny (less the registration and Trustline/criminal check fees).  For placements 20-39 hours per week, you will receive the 90 day pro-rated credit guarantee.  For placements 40+ hours per week, you will receive the 150 day pro-rated credit guarantee - one of the longest guarantees available in the Bay Area. (This applies for up to two replacement nannies).

3. Candidate screening guarantee

This is offered as a courtesy for client families.  If you register and start the search, and happen to come across the perfect candidate on your own (your neighbor no longer needs her nanny, for example), you can submit the candidate to be fully screened by BSS & N.  The fee for this service is actual screening costs (mutually agreed upon prior) plus a $100-250 time fee.  Assuming said screening is successful, the search will then be considered closed. 

With the candidate screening guarantee, because the candidate is of the families own choosing and the fees are much lower, there is no cash back or pro-rated credit guarantee offered.
