Parent Fees (payable by check or credit card)

(Please NOTE: due to the owner being on maternity leave, ONLY full time referrals of current agency nannies are available at this time)

Registration Fee:

If interviewing current agency nannies only, the registration fee is $50.  If doing a full search, parents pay a non-refundable registration fee of $175 to start the full search process, which includes an in-home meeting (optional, if the parents prefer it) to discuss your needs, Bay SuperSitters writing a job description and posting the job on the jobs page here and elsewhere (with all nannies calls/emails directed to the agency), and searching for and screening many great new nannies, specifically for your family. 

Please call to discuss your specific childcare needs, find out how many BSS nannies are currently a match for your needs, and what the registration fee and timeframe would be for you.

Placement Fee: 
The placement fee is due ONLY upon successful nanny placement/hiring. 

"Current Agency Nannies Only" means:  Parents can interview full time or part time nannies that are already with the agency for reduced  registration and reduced placement fees (if hired).  These are the best nannies that have applied or been placed in the past and are available again, or the top nannies that have applied recently during other full nanny searches.   These nannies are already screened (some items may need to be completed upon hiring), already personally interviewed, and ready to interview with parents right away. 

(The full search option includes both interviewing current agency nannies, and posting the family's job and screening new candidates specifically for the family - a personal search agent!)

For temporary needs:  Fees vary, but generally $20/day with a $100 minimum, (fees drop for 15 days or longer) - please call about your specific temp needs

Guarantees:
Because good word of mouth has been vital to the success of  Bay SuperSitters and Nannies thus far, to ensure satisfaction, this *Triple Guarantee* is offered:

1.  Cash back guarantee

If your needs should change within the first 60 days after hiring a nanny, and you no longer need a nanny (you decide to move away, for example) you can receive cash back.  In the first 30 days, you can receive 60% cash back (minus the registration and actual Trustline/criminal check costs) in the form of a business check.  During days 31-30, you can receive 33% cash back (minus the registration and applicable Trustline/criminal/DMV check fees) in the form of a business check.

2.   150 day/90 day/60 day pro-rated credit guarantee

Should your nanny placement not work out, for whatever reason, you will receive pro-rated credit towards finding a new nanny (less the registration and actual Trustline/criminal/DMV check costs).  For placements 1-19 hours per week, you will receive the 60 day pro-rated credit guarantee.  For placements 20-39 hours per week, you will receive the 90 day pro-rated credit guarantee.  For placements 40+ hours per week, you will receive the 150 day pro-rated credit guarantee - one of the longest guarantees available in the Bay Area. (This applies for up to two replacement nannies).

3. Candidate screening guarantee

This is offered as a courtesy for client families.  If you register and start the search, and happen to come across the perfect candidate on your own (your neighbor no longer needs her nanny, for example), you can submit the candidate to be fully screened by BSS & N.  The fee for this service is actual screening costs (mutually agreed upon prior) plus a $100-175 time fee.  Assuming said screening is successful, the search will then be considered closed. 

With the candidate screening guarantee, because the candidate is of the families own choosing and the fees are much lower, there is no cash back or pro-rated credit guarantee offered.
