Info for Parents

As a parent, you know how important it is to find the best nanny possible for your children.  A nanny that is a step above the rest:  legal, fluent, and educated, who has professional child care experience with a number of different families, and who genuinely loves working with children.

You know how important the search is - finding the perfect candidate who will love and care for your children and be with your family long term.  But finding highly qualified nannies in the Bay Area can be a daunting process, with a huge time investment, and the hassle of prescreening, setting up interviews, and trying to screen candidates as thoroughly as possible.

Bay SuperSitters (and Nannies) LLC can help you find these top candidates, saving you time and hassle - and giving you peace of mind for the care of your children.  And although the nanny rates are typical of highly qualified Bay Area nannies ($14-16+/hr for 1 child, $15-17+/hr for 2, etc.),  you'll find the agency fees are some of the lowest in the Bay.

You may have already heard about Bay SuperSitters (and Nannies!) LLC from the 400+ client families already registered for occasional, part time, or full time referrals.  The client satisfaction rate has been high, roughly 85-90%.  Client families are accepted from all over the Bay Area, including San Francisco, the East Bay, San Jose, the Peninsula, and surrounding areas.

Bay SuperSitters LLC can offer you many advantages, including:

-  friendly, personalized, customer service-oriented service
-  a listing on the "available jobs" page, so nannies can apply to BSS&N directly for your  position
-  the same interviewer for both parents and nannies to make the best possible matches
-  sample work agreements, etc.

Please call or email Bay SuperSitters to see if your particular situation would be a good match.  You will receive an honest, free phone evaluation of your child care needs.

Nanny Screening

Bay SuperSitters nannies complete a rigorous four part screening process, including a phone interview, child care reference check, *in-person* interview/documentation check, DMV check, and finishing with fingerprinting/Trustline, in addition to another, faster criminal background check, and renewing Child/Infant CPR (if needed) upon hiring.

Trustline has become the standard for complete nanny criminal background checks in California - the Trustline website is www.Trustline.org , and the phone number is 800-822-8490.

Nanny Search Process

If you decide to register to begin your nanny search with Bay SuperSitters, we will set up the registration meeting (in your own home, at your convenience - day, evening, and weekend appointments available) to fill out the paperwork and your nanny "wish list."

Nanny candidate profile information will be faxed/emailed to you for approval, and interviews can be arranged (either by you or on your behalf) in your own home with the candidates that you approve - with the minimum of hassle for you.

A follow up call will get feedback from both the parents and nannies, continuing until there is a perfect match and a nanny is hired. Trial periods are encouraged, and are included before the placement fee is paid.

Parents receive faxed/emailed information about the nannies' references (and exactly what they said), and have the opportunity to re-call the references after interviewing a likely nanny, before hiring.

Upon hiring, client parents receive a final packet with the chosen nanny's criminal background check results, DMV record, Child/Infant CPR information, and also receive a copy of their nanny's Trustline letter when it is received by Bay SuperSitters.  Bay SuperSitters also keeps additional information on the nanny from the nanny application, in case it is ever needed.

Please contact Bay SuperSitters (and Nannies) LLC today at 650-576-3296, or by emailing info@BaySuperSitters.com .  You'll find friendly, personalized service dedicated to finding you the perfect match for your full or part time child care needs!
